My Experience at DevCon 2011 Hyderabad
Developer Conference 2011 is the premier technical event for tech professionals at Hyderabad interested in learning, connecting and exploring Microsoft technologies. This is one more successful event organized by Microsoft User Group Hyderabad on 1st October 2011 at Microsoft IDC Hyderabad attended by more than 300 developers & IT professionals.
The event registration started at 9.00 A.M, this time we managed to arrange two different desks for developer & student registration to manage crowd. The event has started at 10.00 A.M with keynote on current trends in technology by Mr Ramesh Loganathan – VP, Progress Software. After keynote we had short 10 minutes break.
We have two tracks for morning one is web track & another is platform track. Web track started by Chander Dhall with sessions on writing elegant code in C# using expression trees, platform track started by Namit & Rahul with session on Windows Azure. Following sessions in web track are Bringing HTML5 experiences to your ASP.NET Websites by Harish Ranganathan & ASP.NET MVC 3 by Chander Dhall. . Following sessions in platform track are Windows Azure Storage by Charan & Integration of SharePoint 2010 & Office 2010 by Sandeep.
We took lunch break at 1.30, this time we order packed lunch for attendees. We started at 2.30 P.M, we combined the two tracks in after noon, and we started with sessions on SQL Server Denali by Balaji Rathakrishnan & Deepak, followed by it is this easy to steal your click – Security by Krishna Chaitanya. After this session we had 15 mins coffee break. Last but not the least, final session by Abhijit Jana & Jebarson Jebamony on Knotting Windows Phone 7, Windows Azure and Kinect, this actually planned for 1 hour 30 minutes, but this went so long around 2 hour 20 minutes, but no one left from hall, this is session is full of fun & interesting live demoes with combination of Kinect, Azure & Windows Azure.
In all sessions speakers distributed lots of goodies for attendees, finally we announced twitter completion winner. We wrapped up our event at 7.00 P.M with closing note by Mr Sudhakar – founder of MUGH.
